I’m a licensed residential appraiser with over a decade of experience in the real estate, title, and mortgage industries, providing valuation services and guidance rooted in real-world practice—not theory.

My career began in the title industry, where I gained early exposure to property records, transactions, and the foundational mechanics of real estate. From there, I moved through various roles within the title and mortgage space, working closely with lenders, underwriters, and real estate professionals. These experiences gave me a comprehensive, behind-the-scenes understanding of how property value is assessed, relied upon, and sometimes misunderstood across the industry.

That path ultimately led me into an appraiser trainee program, where I formally transitioned into valuation work. After earning my residential appraisal license, I spent three years as a staff appraiser for one of the nation’s largest mortgage companies, completing high-volume appraisal assignments while maintaining strict compliance with USPAP standards, lender guidelines, and internal quality controls.

While that role strengthened my technical expertise and efficiency, I recognized a growing need for independent, client-focused appraisal services—services that prioritize clarity, context, and education alongside accurate valuation. That realization led me to pivot into independent practice, where iValues was born.
